Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead DevOps / CloudOps Engineer to join
our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing,
implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions that support
our applications and services. If you are passionate about automation, cloud

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

● Architect, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure to support scalable
and high-availability applications.
● Design cloud-native architectures, including serverless and container-based
solutions, to meet organizational needs.
● Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance optimization.
DevOps & Automation:
● Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or
AWS CodePipeline.
● Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to
automate provisioning and management of AWS resources.
● Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response using tools like
CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or New Relic.
Leadership & Collaboration:
● Lead a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals, mentoring junior
members and fostering a collaborative environment.
● Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless
integration of applications with infrastructure.
● Establish and maintain best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and
DevOps processes.
Operations & Monitoring:
● Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
● Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking,
and application deployment.
● Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.
Security & Compliance:
● Ensure adherence to security best practices, implementing necessary guardrails,
identity management, and access control (IAM).
● Regularly audit and update systems to ensure compliance with industry
standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
● Manage AWS security services like WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and
IAM.
Qualifications
Experience:
● 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a focus on AWS.
● Proven experience in leading and managing infrastructure projects and teams.
● Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS,
etc.).
● AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps
Engineer, or similar).
Skills:
● Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS
CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
● Proficiency in CI/CD tools and processes: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI,
AWS CodePipeline.
● Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS) and
containerization (Docker).
● Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
● Knowledge of networking concepts, VPC, VPN, and load balancing (AWS
ELB/ALB).
● Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK,
Grafana.

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

● Knowledge of security frameworks and tools (CIS benchmarks, Nessus, AWS
Security Hub).
